This list really could go on forever but recently we keep adding things to our never ending bucket list. These are just a few adventures that we are dying to go on but we just don’t have the money to spend on these experiences right now. Hopefully some of the places on our list will inspire you to go there or add them to your own bucket list.
Ever since we saw Stephen and Jess’ video from Flying the Nest (here) this has gone straight on our bucket list! Emmm… hello beautiful water eroded sandstone formations! Those colours, the smooth rock; we feel the need to go to this amazing place!
Isle of Skye
Isle of Skye has been on our list for quite a while. The fairy pools, ancient castles and amazing landscapes who wouldn’t want to this spectacular place! Although its in Britain its at least a day of travelling meaning we haven’t been able to go as of yet.
Iceland seems to have been THE place to visit this year, and why not! Its landscapes have been compared to the surface of Mars and those waterfalls though. On point. we are dying to explore the picturesque villages and experience the infamous blue lagoon.
Plitvice Lakes National Park
While researching where we should visit on our interrail trip this was one of the suggestions. Alice instantly knew she had to go! Sadly Croatia didn’t really fit in with our travel route so it got cut out but its still on this list for a reason. JUST LOOK HOW PRETTY!
All you really need to do is just look at the Norwegian countryside to see why we want to visit this place so badly. Its amazing Fjords and awe inspiring landscapes are like no where else we have seen.
The inspiration for the set of the original Tomb Raider game (yes. How cool!). Angkor Wat literally means ‘city of temples’ as it is the largest religious monument in the world. Originally built in the 12th century this city simply looks amazing!!
See the Northern Lights
The Northern Lights are one of nature’s greatest natural displays. The multicoloured lights appear in the night sky and twist and swirl around the atmosphere. We feel like it is one of those great priceless thrills that everyone should witness once in their life. Everyone says what a humbling experience it is and that it reminds you how extraordinary our world can be! Plus imagine seeing them from one of these glass roof igloos!!
Explore the Canadian Rockies
National parks Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoh provide some of the most beautiful scenery. I mean just look at how blue that lake is! Although it would look amazing in winter with snow everywhere and the lakes frozen over completely; we desperately want to visit in the summer to see the beautiful lakes, and maybe even canoe on these waters.
