As this was our third and fourth times visiting New York we wanted to find a few new places that were off the beaten track. After extensive research and stalking on Instagram we found a food market and knew that we had to go! Smorgasborg is a food market in Brooklyn that has two locations, Williamsburg on Saturdays and Prospect Park on Sundays. We visited the Prospect Park site. AND. IT. WAS. GREAT!
We have been to New York a few times now, having done all the tourists spots before, this time was a little more relaxed. From our research before going the main things we wanted to go to were restaurants. Literally all apart from two items were food related. So here are our recommendations for where to eat and drink, all are a little more off the beaten track but so worth it!
Location: Krakow, Poland
A few weeks ago Grace and her friends took a trip to Karakow, Poland, and fell in love with it’s laid back nature. We thought we would pop together a little guide with a few places to stay, eat and see! As always, if you have any recommendations too, feel free to leave them below – after all, sharing is caring.
It would be hard to go to Poland and learn about it’s history without visiting some of the sites of what can only be described as one of, if not the worst crimes against humanity in modern history. Lets not sugar-coat it. The Hallocaust was a disgusting display of human arrogance and Auschwitz was at the heart of so much of this suffering.
If, like us, you are massive fans of Harry Potter fans and are still waiting for your acceptance letter to Hogwarts then Oxford is the place for you! Many of the infamous colleges were used as locations of the films and with the cities’ stunning gothic architecture is is easy to see why they were so inspired to film some scenes on location here. So that you don’t miss out any spots, we’ve put together a quick guide to all the filming locations in the city!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
2016 had its ups and downs didn’t it? But we are looking to 2017 with a positive mind and open arms and hope that it will be a great year in everyone’s books. Last year we didn’t travel as much as we had planned.
